Στο Γυμνάσιο του Δημήτρη, ο Βασίλης με την παρέα του, μια ομάδα νταήδων, του προκαλούν τρόμο. Όταν μαθαίνει ότι πρέπει να πει την πρωινή προσευχή, ο Βασίλης καταλαμβάνει όλη του τη σκέψη. Τι θα γίνει όμως όταν θα φτάσει η μέρα να σταθεί μπροστά σε όλο το σχολείο και κυρίως μπροστά σ’ αυτόν; Αναζητώντας την ταυτότητά τους, μέσα από τη βία, ο ένας θα παίξει με τα όρια του άλλου.

In Dimitri’s high school, Vassilis and his friends, a gang of bullies, terrorize him. When he learns that it’s his turn to say the morning prayer in front of the entire school, Vassilis becomes the only thing he can think about. But, what’s going to happen when the time comes and he stands in front of the whole school and mainly in front of him?
Two high school students. While seeking their identity, through violence, they will inevitably test each other’s boundaries.

Ο Θανάσης Νεοφώτιστος γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στην Αθήνα. Σπούδασε αρχικά Αρχιτεκτονική (Δ.Π.Θ.) και συνέχισε με σπουδές Σκηνοθεσίας όπου πρόσφατα αποφοίτησε από το QMU (AMC) Film Directing. Χαρακτηριστικό του, αποστάλαγμα των σπουδών του, η Σκηνογραφία. Πρώτη του ταινία μικρού μήκους που ξεχώρισε είναι Ο ΗΛΙΟΣ ΚΙ Ο ΒΟΡΙΑΣ, που έγινε στα πλαίσια των σπουδών του. Η ΠΡΟΣΕΥΧΗ αποτέλεσε την πτυχιακή του εργασία και σίγουρα την πιο προσωπική του ταινία μέχρι σήμερα. Η ταινία ΠΡΟΣΕΥΧΗ συμμετείχε στο διαγωνιστικό τμήμα του 37ου Φεστιβάλ Δράμας, όπου κέρδισε το πρώτο βραβείο καλύτερης ταινίας, Χρυσός Διόνυσος 2014.

Thanasis Neofotistos was born and raised in Athens, Greece. He initially studied Architecture in D.U.Th (M.A.) and afterwards continued by studying Film Directing and just recently obtained his Bachelor in Q.M.U (Queen Margaret University - B.A.). One of his characteristic assets, Scenography, is an influence from both his studies. His first short film that was distinguished is "THE SUN AND THE WIND", created for the needs of his studies. "PROSEFHI: Greek School Prayer", was his thesis and certainly the most personal film to date. PROSEFHI had it's national premiere and won the 1st prize in Drama Film Festival, the GOLDEN DIONYSUS AWARD for Best Greek Fiction Film 2014.
